She is a journalist, specialized in society and health, particularly in bioethics and biomedicine. She has developed a large part of her journalistic career in El País, where she was editor-in-chief of the Catalan edition, a defender of the reader (2009-2012) and of which she designed and coordinated the health magazine. She is currently part of the newspaper’s opinion team and writes regular articles in it. She has also worked as a lecturer in journalism and scientific communication in several postgraduate courses at universities such as Pompeu Fabra University (UPF) and the Autonomous University of Madrid (UAM). Her journalistic work has been honoured with prizes such as the National Journalism Prize of the Generalitat de Catalunya or the Margarita Rivière Prize, awarded by the Association of Women Journalists of Catalonia (ADPC), and she has been a member of the Bioethics Committee of Catalonia. She usually collaborates in current affairs analysis tables in several programmes, such as “El Matí de Catalunya Ràdio” or “Els matins de TV3”, and is part of the interview team of the programme “Terrícoles” by Betevé.
